Our client approached us as they had been leasing their fish & chip shop premises for nearly 5 years and were now in a position to purchase from the current owner. They had approached their current high street bank, however they were not able to obtain the finance due to the client residing in the flat above the fish and chip shop.
We were able to assist the clients by approaching a different high street bank that specialises in providing commercial mortgages for clients that are living in or above their commercial premise and they were able to obtain a loan for £97,500.
The funding enabled our client to purchase the premises and simultaneously reduce their monthly overhead costs.
